Life happens one day at a time. 4 Years There 1 Year Here = 5 Florida Years. October 27, 2014. Five years ago this week the 5 of us arrived in the sunshine state. To me this is an important anniversary. It is the anniversary of us finding our place. I wrote about it on my 3rd Florida anniversary HERE. A year ago this week we changed homes. We moved all of 3 miles, except because of protected wetlands and the fact that you have to drive around them rather than in a straight line it feels more like 15.

Life happens one day at a time. First Day, ALL Three. August 19, 2013. So all 3 of my kids started school today. Bella is in 4th, Natalie, 2nd and Ethan Kindergarten. What’s a mom to do? We had so much fun taking pictures with our apples that we left almost 10 minutes later than I planned and because of the first day crazy that always happens with EVERYONE driving their kidswe were almost late to school. I got Ethan to class just as the final bell rang. Phew! Lets Play a Game.

Thursday, September 8 was a busy day for us - the morning was spent at the Oklahoma City Temple as part of our Stake Temple Day with Gma Gardner acting as gracious baby sitter, then that evening was the Member Night at the Tulsa Zoo. So we packed up Gma and Gpa Gardner and headed off for a few hours of afternoon and evening animal watching. And just like last year: WOW! Such a great experience, which we've detailed below. ;).
