There are several old sayings that come to mind today ‘when it rains it pours,’ ‘if it’s not one thing, it’s another,’ ‘if it weren’t for bad luck I’d have none at all.’ i could go on. I had to drag myself out of bed. My neck is tender you know under the jaw where your glands are. It hurts a little when i swallow {not a good sign hope i don’t have west nile virus from the mosquito bite i got yesterday}. I’m a little dizzy and ‘fuzzy’ this morning.

I've actually made some yummy meals over the last couple of weeks but didn't have the time and energy to blog about it (due to a lingering cold). Monday - roast chicken, potatoes and salad. Tuesday - pancakes and fruit. Wednesday - beef and mushroom stew (Canadian Living) and salad. Thursday - short rib ragu and pasta.
