Makes enough for 6 servings):. 2 cups fresh basil leaves. 1/2 cup olive oil. 3 tablespoons pine nuts. 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. 3 tablespoons softened butter. 1 Wash and dry the basil leaves. I cut the stems off. 2 Mix the basil leaves, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic cloves, and salt in a food processor until they reach a creamy consistency.
