Cooking Ventures: Klingon Chicken
http://cookingventures.blogspot.com/2009/11/klingon-chicken.html
Thursday, November 5, 2009. My Venture into Klingon Space. Work in Customer Service for a company that has an automated telephone system that tells callers to Press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish, and 3 for KLINGON? Geez I mean, how many Klingons do they think live on this planet when everybody knows their home world is, like, light years away from Federation space? A guide then lead us inside and I was so excited about being able to experience the show with clean teeth. We walked through the corridors...

Fun Foods On a Budget!: Eggnog
http://baskersfunfoods.blogspot.com/2009/12/eggnog.html
Fun Foods On a Budget! Thursday, December 24, 2009. Happy National Eggnog Day, everyone! Oh yeah, and Happy Christmas Eve too. :-). Eggnog is one of my favorite beverages ever. So rich and creamy, and perfect for holiday sipping. I wanted to buy some the other day when I went shopping, but was appalled to see that a gallon of eggnog cost over $7! However, whole milk was on sale for $1.66/gallon. So I picked up some milk and eggs and determined to make my own eggnog. I found this recipe. I think yours is ...

Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Easy Make Ahead Crab Dip. One of my favorite things about having parties or get-togethers that my Mom goes to with me is that I can ask her to make crab dip for it. I love that crab dip. I crazy love it. That means that I now know how easy it is to make, and I will never again have to sadly wait for a party to have some. 15 pounds imitation crab. 16 oz reduced-fat sour cream. 1 package green onions, diced (use as many as is your preference). 1 Cut up imitation crab. March 2, 2010 ...

Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Cheaper Solutions for Lunch on the Go. We have to eat our lunches in the van sometimes. I like to think that's not uncommon for families, especially those who decide to homeschool. One day, I realized that I had three reusable containers that were all the same size. And, that size was perfect for putting in a sandwich, something like Goldfish crackers, and a small treat. Plus, they made a great "tray" for the kids to just hold on their laps. Do you have to take meals on the go?
