I was born on August 14, 1937 to Morris and Lois Barber in Madison, Wis. Elementary education at Lakewood and Univ. of Wisconsin’s high school. Upon graduation spent 3 years in USN. Returning from the Navy in 1958 I spent the next 12 years at the University of Wisconsin, Madison earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
