My concentration will be focused on color harmony in divided compositions. Thursday, March 12. So I made this poster for a Concert being held for Zimbabwe in Rock Hiil. My color scheme is inspired by Zimbabwe's flag colors, yellow, green, and red. The main graphic is an Acacia tree, commonly found in africa, and the sunset behind it is a modified photo that I took awhile back. I still don't view it as complete (as always)so give suggestions please! OH, and show up for the concert, it's going to be fun!

Not too sure what kind of artwork i am most influenced by. I like to do alot of different types i guess. Friday, May 22, 2009. I really love this piece. i spent a long time working on the water in the background. i was a major part of both sides. Hey my name is Blake and this is my blog. Feel free to critique/comment on whatever you like i'm open to any suggestions. My concentration will be focused on color harmony in divided compositions. Monday, February 23. If She's Not Wearing Any Clothes, She's Naked'. This is the final version of this piece (I think.). I feel like it needs some green in there- but that could ruin it too. What do you think? Its a very interesting design, but I like it how it is and do not think it needs any green. Check my stuff out! Tuesday, February 17, 2009. I did this piece in Art 2 it is one of my favorites. Its a collage of a world issue that's going on now. I choose to do poverty. The picture is of a man sitting on the streets trying to get spare change with his cart and bags beside him. I really liked this piece i think i could have worked harder on it but it turned out pretty good i thought. I chose to draw soccer balls because soccer is my life and it kind of symbolizes that. Another altered book entry. This prompt was, 'too late'. For my entry I put a picture of a running man, to me he looks like he is going to work, on top of an image already in my book.
