March 25, 2011. I took the kids to the Keesler Air Show with our friends, the Gifford family. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day! Ava and Mia toured a C-130 and had a blast in the bounce houses. August 9, 2011. We took a mini vacation at the beginning of the summer to Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham for a "reunion" with our friends Andy and Renee and Derek and Heather. October 19, 2009. I can not tell you how nice it is to live close to family again. We drove a little over 2.5 hours and got to spend weekend with cousins in Louisiana! November 30, 2010. We hosted Thanksgiving Dinner at our house this year. Peter's parents drove down and we had all of our military friends over who were still in town. Needless to say, Johnny was thrilled when he looked out the window this morning, so ventured outside for a bit. Johnny played with Liam and Ben, and Sophia "chilled" in her stroller.
