Sunday, June 19, 2011. Happy FATHER's Day to. That would be my DAD on the right. He died when I was a mere 11 months old when his plane crashed near Payson, AZ. I only got to know him through the stories that were told. But, those stories let him be a HERO in my mind. Flying airplanes - riding motorcycles - and he was sooo handsome! Happy Father's Day. Friday, June 1, 2012. My favorite time of day is morning. I love opening the french door onto the patio. Watching the changing colors in the sky as the birds chirp - just warming up for the sweet songs to come. There is still a little crispness in the air. The soft fragrance of the roses floats in with a touch of the musty scent of the river. It is a quiet time - a time of grateful prayer and introspect. I started seeing this on my drive to work. Not every morning, mind you, but enough to make me say.

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. A few posts in one. Awesome couple of days I've had. My aunt Nel showed up at my house early afternoon on Monday. I was so thrilled to see her. What an angel to come all the way from Tucson to get me! We never stopped talking while I cleaned, packed and fixed dinner. Beth came for dinner and the conversation, laughter and good times kept on. Thursday, May 31, 2012. My personality, as any of you that know me can attest,. I've become filled with enlightenment, though, over the years by my many varied experiences! I have new employment, now, and have been absent from the blogging world as I have tried to adjust. I will attempt to catch up. But, true to another facet of my personality, I will do that backwards! Friday, June 8, 2012. I subscribe to the daily paper on weekends only. It didn't come this morning. I was a bit upset. Normally it doesn't bother me. Well, at 6 o'clock. This evening I was reading the obits and such online and came across this article. He was raised by two of the most honest people I know,. And he was one of my favorite little boys! Monday, April 30, 2012. The thing that makes me sad is not being able to attend EVERY. Occasion that involves someone I love - whether it be lack of time, too far away, not enough gas in my car, a previous engagement, whatever. I go (or can't) to their funeral. Sunday, April 29, 2012. Saturday, March 31, 2012. I've done a lot of RELAXING. She has a lot of background. I LOVE that chair! I slept in her like a bed for a while after my heart surgery. I rocked my sweet little grand daughter in her many times. When she was sick, we rocked all night. I've watched movies, fallen asleep, rocked my worries away for a while, let George (our ginormous cat) fall asleep there, and just cuddled my girls in her. Friday, June 8, 2012. I wear lots of hats figuratively - but not too often literally. I wore hats a bit when I was a very young woman. My first husband quite liked buying them for me. I did look pretty snazzy in them. I had a black velvet on that I especially liked, and a red one that was really classy. Sorry, no pics.
