Stitchery Nook

Monday, 11 November 2013. My Quilt has Grown a Bit. Good evening to each and everyone of you. As the title suggests my quilt - or at least the Quiltmaker's quilt has grown somewhat this week, I think that now the blue is out of the way my enthusiasm for this one has grown too. So here is how she is looking at this moment in time. I meant to share the pictures of my Grandsons advent I made, but forgot last time, so I am showing them to you now. May your frogs stay in their ponds. Links to this post. Havin...

Stitchery Nook: June 2013

http://stitchingranny.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 26 June 2013. I Made The Connection. I was disappointed with the Minecraft cake, so much so that I didnt even bother taking a picture. Oscar however was thrilled with it and his friends thought it was cool. Not one of my best but obviously not a complete failure lol. So here is my latest offering for Fairies At The Bottom Of My Garden -. Now that the border is round it I am beginning to feel like I am getting somewhere and the end is within the bounds of possibility. Links to this post. I have...

Stitchery Nook: Full of Virtue

http://stitchingranny.blogspot.com/2013/11/full-of-virtue.html

Friday, 1 November 2013. Firstly I have my Garden of Virtues, which I finished last weekend. I loved stitching this pretty little design, and it certainly did the trick in luring my mojo back home. So here is where I am now with The Quiltmaker. There is just one more blue pleat on her dress so I am hoping that I will get that completed and out of the way this week. I have sorted a small sampler out for holiday stitching, but now I am having second thoughts. I am not sure about it so might pop one of ...

Stitchery Nook: July 2013

http://stitchingranny.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, 20 July 2013. At Last an English Summer. I have also been doing a little knitting, something Ive not done for over 20 years. I am making myself a summer sweater, though if this weather continues I do not think it will get much wear - hurray. I have reached about half way up the back so far. A little stitching has been done from time to time and I have been working on the Water Pump but as you will see from the picture below, its not grown a lot since you last saw it. Stitchery Nook: September 2013

http://stitchingranny.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Friday, 13 September 2013. Hello fellow bloggers and readers. We had a lovely holiday with our Grandson in Malta. The first morning we had a thunder storm but for the rest of the holiday the weather was perfect, and we did lots of walking. I got a little stitching done and finished my holiday stitch when I got home. It was a Drawn Thread design called Generosity and here it is complete. So it was time to re-awaken another UFO. I looked at the three main ones left and decided that the one I had done t...

Irene's Stitching Corner: Wow, 8 months..

http://irenesstitchingcorner.blogspot.com/2010/10/wow-8-months.html

Thursday, 14 October 2010. Wow, 8 months. Since posting on my blog. Life has a nasty habit of getting in the away. Still fighting the big C, I am still here, so I am winning I guess. Thankfully, I am over my long stitching slump. Just finished Irish Blessing and nearly done with my current project. With a bit of luck I can get them both off to the framer next week. I do love a new start. No compulsion to tackle the UFO/WIP's as yet. Here is Irish Blessing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wow, 8 months.

Stitch, Please!

Just the inane ramblings of an unrepentant stitchaholic. Friday, 17 July 2015. Adrift, page 19 is complete! The month of July shall be known in my memory as the month that I worked much and stitched little. This page seemed to take me forever to complete. I started on June 23 and finished July 16 - a total of 7600 stitches. Now I am off to work on my little owl, who, by the end of this page, will have one very stern eye glaring at me! See you all then! Tuesday, 23 June 2015. Winter Hat Owl Page 9 Complete.

The Stitching Reaper

You reap what you sew! Saturday, July 25, 2015. Every Season But the One I'm In. Or so it seems. Actually it’s just two other seasons I’m showing today. First up again is the Winter Lady. The final portion of her dress is coming along. It’s all shades of green so there’s not much variety when I’m wanting to switch off. I’ve done a bit more on Celtic Spring too. The purple portion of her sleeve is finished now so next up is the cream portion. Friday, July 24, 2015. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Let’s hope...
