Monday, October 22, 2012. My parents came in the following weekend after we got back from Cabo to spend some time with my Aunt Joann who was out here from Texas. We went to Mission Viejo for a great dinner Saturday night and some live music everyone had a great time dancing. The next day, we braved the heat and enjoyed a little fair time on its last day in town. Gavin loving the rides this year! Gavin's 1st roller coaster! He's the one in the 3rd car with his arms all the way up - 1st EVER coaster ride!

Being as Gavin turned 3 this year, we decided to have a small get together at our house. :) Gavin shares a birthday with his friend Trevor Dean who turned 4 and had a co-birthday celebration. The theme - monster trucks! In attendance, @ 25 adults and @ 25 kids, we had a full house! Your hosts and birthday boys! Beth, James, myself, Gavin and Dena. Brothers Trevor and Donovan and Gavin - all smiles! Video of the Birthday cake. Even a new bike! Oh mike - always the funny guy!

Monday, April 16, 2012. My very best friend Elizabeth got married (Actually renewed their vows) this weekend in San Diego. There were so many great people there to share the special occasion with. Chris, Beth and their beautiful son James at the rehearsal dinner. The bridesmaids and junior bridesmaids. Heading to the ceremony! My parents drove in from Vegas to be a part of the night too! Me and my honey. There was a bit of dancing going on! The 'Chico' college crew. Look who was on our flight from LAX!

Monday, August 13, 2012. This past weekend, we decided to get out of the heat (its been in the 100's! And head to the beach. Was the first time this year and packed a picnic and headed to Santa Monica. We had such a great day enjoying the family time with just us 4. Need to do a lot more of this! Building Sand Castles with dada. The girls catching some rays. Can't go to the beach without an ice cream treat! Monday, January 9, 2012. This year we had a FULL house for the holidays! Mom and Dad were here from the 19th of Dec though the 4th of Jan (! Zach, Suzi, Luke and Aaron were here for a week, Jon Perry and Scarlet were here for a few days and Mikes sister Lisa and Mom popped in as well for the main festivities. WOW - what a crazy but fun household! We ate and drank like kings, soaked up the beautiful weather and just had a wonderful time together. A few of my favorite moments. They really got into it!

Monday, October 22, 2012. I have been lagging big time and have so much to share. The family headed out in the beginning of August to Colorado where we helped my grandpa celebrate 80 years! The kids had a blast traveling, going from cars, shuttles, escalators, planes, buses and so forth. Their favorite was the 'yellow bus' (Hertz shuttle) - go figure. :). We stayed with my Uncle Steve and Aunt Jackie who can host with the best of them! Uncle Steve making us dinner while Jackie had to work. 9 months 19&#4...

Sunday, October 9, 2011. Lucy is really getting into Dance. In fact, I think this might be her "thing". She absolutely LOVES going to her dance classes each week. She was so excited for her first dance recital, she could hardly stand it. It was so much fun watching her up on that stage. She really is very good, and I can tell that she is having so much fun.
