Sunday, July 3, 2011. Home again, part 1. I came home again yesterday at a quite decent time even, but biking in 28-30 degrees Celsius is not something that I do easy. So I was quite spent, drinking water, eating, taking a long shower, drinking some more water and just crashing in the couch. Monday, July 2, 2012. Today we started from Motala and arrived to Borensberg along Göta Kanal 33 km later but had some fun during the day. First we visited the Motala Motor Museum and looked at all sorts of old vehicles. So I just post a lot of pictures and some comments. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Today was a little bit longer trip, 65 km and a lot of hills again. Worst part was after we had biked for 29 km, had waited for a ferry for 15 minutes and had enjoyed a light lunch consisting of a meatball sandwich and a hotdog. Straight after that we had a 78 meters climb on 1,5km, that is probably not very much but with a full loaded touring bike, a full stomach and cold muscles it wasn't very nice. Friday, April 5, 2013. Sweden Offroad Tour 2007. At the time I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 I think so was one of the newer cars on the tour. Only modification was a small lift to make room for a bit bigger and "grippier" tyres. Turned out very well! Modified with bigger tyres and a small lift. In it's pristine original form.
