Jen and Neils family fun :). Thursday, August 2, 2012. Can't believe the kids have already started school again. The day after pioneer day was their first day. They were so excited to go back that they were up and ready an half hour early. Karen started 3rd grade and Michael started 1st grade. Here are some pictures of them after their first day of school. The big news of this year - Jeremy submitted his papers (actually an online application) for his mission. His mission boundaries include a little bit of northern California and the corner tip of Nevada, but mostly the south west portion of Oregon. The following Tuesday was our youth night to do baptisms at the temple and Jeremy was able to come and perform some o...

Saturday, June 23, 2012. Melissa's First Trip to the Temple. Melissa turned 12 in April and thus became eligible to enter Young Women and to go to the Temple. We had already gone to Lagoon on my birthday in June, and she had tried a few new rides and had a lot of fun. So this time she tried even more rides. Jen and Neils family fun :). Monday, March 19, 2012. I'm feeling very springy lately. The beautiful weather last week and the temperatures in the 70s really got me ready for spring. Then the snow came and I'm hoping it will melt soon and we can be outside again. Michael has been in an indoor soccer class that he has loved! Jen and Neils family fun :). Tuesday, January 10, 2012. I was so happy and best of all, the kids were happy too! It even made it less stressful because I had prepared so much ahead of time. As I look back I think there were 3 things that really helped make it a good time. Coloring a picture in the kids coloring book. Watching TV and eating marshmallows. Hanging out with all of Karen's Barbies. Snowball (marshmallow) fight with a snowman and penguin decoration. Reading in 3rd Nephi about the birth of Jesus.

Jen and Neils family fun :). Friday, December 9, 2011. We got family pictures taken. What do you think? I think they all turned out quite well, especially the ones of my kids. They can be quite adorable at times. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I was so excited, we got to be with my side of the family this year and nearly everyone was there, though we missed the one sister that couldn't be there. We had a great spread.
