Delhi For Dummies – A first-timer’s approach – thevagabondbeans

https://thevagabondbeans.wordpress.com/2015/05/30/delhi-for-dummies-a-first-timers-approach

Not only was it reported to be the first example of their building skills, but was also the first monument of it’s scale to be constructed using red sandstone. Surrounding the tomb are...

How India does tea better than the British. June 2, 2015. Entering a foreign land such as india can be unnerving for many. We think they call it ‘culture shock’. Finding yourself in a country where nothing seems at all familiar is weird. With this in mind, it’s the little things that transfer between cultures that keep you sane – people having banter in a shop, the nation’s obsession for cricket, watching a yawn spread across a group of people and oh yes. … Their love for tea. Good old Engish tea. That&#...

Thursday, May 26, 2011. DAY 32 - OUR FINAL DAY. I must take a minute out and acknowledge with a great big 'thank you' the forth member of our team, our RV. Even though we did do some back tracking, it actually turned out pretty good. As we headed back south, we were fortunate enough to see some additonal great sights such as the Old Colorado City and the Loretto Chapel. Oh such a problem. Now here is a brief 'facts sheet' of what we did:. We traveled through 6 states. We travel a total of 3,587 miles.

The city is a beautiful, tree lined oasis with scores of squares and parks to wander through, shops to explore and outdoor cafes to relax in while enjoying an espresso and watching the Mendozians amble by. It's also a veritable Bachanalian delight with wine tastings, as well as food and wine pairings, offered by nearly every restaurant, hotel, bodega (wine bar) and hole-in-the-wall around. Friday, November 10, 2006. A summer local since she ...
