This Running Life: January 2015

http://thisrunninglife.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 30, 2015. A long time between updates but having just reviewed my posts I realised that there is value in it for me to keep it going. Since my last post I have struggled to return to any semblence of fitness. So in the intervening five months what I have I been up to:. My committment to return to running was strengthened when I offered to pace a friend in his first attempt to run 100 miles. Afterwards Hammer and I wound our way home through Catherine Hill Bay to see what all the developme...

This Running Life: September 2013

http://thisrunninglife.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Saturday, September 14, 2013. Saturday, September 14, 2013 - I am running. A cog has shifted in my perception of what I can do and I am willing to push myself and explore my new limits. So what, if every 28 days I have to go into hospital to be recharged – the rest of the time I am as good as I can hope to be. I can't let doctors have the decision on what I can and can't do. In the meantime I have been out and about getting inspiration from other runners and taking lots of runners in action photographs.

Friday, March 22, 2013. A week of celebration and reflection (March 15-22, 2013). Past weekend, Hammer and I drove down the south coast to attend a nephew's wedding at Gerringong. A glorious weekend spent with family and sharing their special day. The south coast continues to inspire with wild and stunning scenery. A rainy Sunday morning sunrise at Werri Beach. This Running Life: December 2013

http://thisrunninglife.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, December 5, 2013. Over the past spring I became a born again runner. Gradually I am working my way back to a running programme, a slow but steady increase in distance and with that an increasing confidence in the strength of my body. I am slowly letting go of worry and fear. Will I be the same runner as I was before? God, give me grace to accept with serenity. The things that cannot be changed,. Courage to change the things. Which should be changed,. And the Wisdom to distinguish.

This Running Story - Because Every Runner Has a Story

Because Every Runner Has a Story. Send in your story. Reconnecting with the world beyond my gate: how I learned not to hate running. I used to hate running. It made me feel like a Heffalump.
