The Peak Condition Project - Mickey

Saturday, April 17, 2010. Day 93 - The Good, the bad, and the hungry. It's been 3 days since my Peak journey concluded, and I've been trying to wrap my head around it all. What a crazy trip this has been. I think the best way for me to summarize the past 90 days is by simply breaking it down. I figure I want to end on a positive note so I'll start with. In the end I came to love yogurt! I go through about a 1/2 gallon of skim milk a day. I absolutely love, love, love milk! I have seen the light. Not only...

The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: Day 90 - The numbers are in. We did it!

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-90-numbers-are-in-we-did-it.html

Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Day 90 - The numbers are in. We did it! It's day 90 people. Day freaking 90. Can you believe it? What a journey. What an amazing sense of accomplishment. Well technically I have one more workout to do tonight. Patrick has asked us to choose one from the first two weeks. I'm dying to see how fast I'll be able to get through it. If I remember correctly it took me about 10 min the first time. This time I'll be shooting for 5 :). I'll be back later with some final words and pictures.

The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: Day 77 - Bye, bye jump rope

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-77-bye-bye-jump-rope.html

Thursday, April 1, 2010. Day 77 - Bye, bye jump rope. Physical therapy update take 2. This new place was WAY more professional then the last. It was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. Thanks G! So, only 2 weeks left and I'm told to hang up the rope. Patrick, what should I do? Is the elliptical a viable fallback? April 2, 2010 at 2:30 AM. Elliptical is fine but you gotta crank away at that sucker! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What is the Peak Condition Project? Day 89 - Time Differences.

The Peak Condition Project - Mickey: March 2010

http://www.thepeakconditionproject-mickey.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Day 75 - Huh. A little physical therapy update. Last week my doctor recommended I see a PT. He said there was one in his office that was great. I thought about making an appointment with him, but it's a bit too far up-town and I figured if I have to go like 2-3x a week, I'd prefer one closer to my office. So I disregard his recommendation and begin my search. The lobby is a bit shady and shoddy looking and as it turns out — they are located on a 6th floor walk up! I mean seriousl...

The Peak Condition Project - Marissa: Day 57: 3%

http://thepeakconditionproject-marissa.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-57-3.html

Friday, March 12, 2010. So I weighed in today- I know I'm not supposed to be checking my weight, but my scale has a bodyfat measurer in it (who knows how accurate, but it's the only one I've got), and you have to let it weigh you to get to the bodyfat percentage part. The good news is that I'm down 3% in bodyfat! Busts out happy dance:. March 12, 2010 at 7:32 PM. March 12, 2010 at 9:25 PM. March 20, 2010 at 5:35 AM. Gonna bust out a Booyah, circa 1995! Sunday, January 31, 2010. Even though things have been busy, I still wake up and do the exercises that are mapped out in my diet and for the most part I have stuck to the diet 100%. I am looking forward to getting settled and beginning a new year, at my new place. Everything is getting much easier but I am sure the time is coming where alot more is demanded from us. The Peak Condition Project - Helen Jane: April 2010

http://thepeakconditionproject-helen.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 16, 2010. That went fast but slow. Hard but well, hard. I'm sad to say I didn't do this 100%. But I'm totally happy with my progress. I moved a household of four people and one dog during this process. As well, I have gone from having a 6 week old baby to a 4 month old baby. I've lost 26 pounds. Most importantly, I've learned how to eat again. Can't eat chips any more. I used to love them. Now they're disgusting. I'd rather have fruit. Friday, April 2, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Day 61: I have no idea what time it is. So Daylight Savings Time began again this weekend, and it always throws me for a loop. When DST is in effect, my body loses all sense of what time it is. I know it's only an hour's difference from standard time, but I become so time-disoriented! You know how you usually have some semi-accurate internal clock? On the plus side, it is 6:30pm and it's still gorgeously blue-skied outside. I love springtime. March 16, 2010 at 7:09 PM. http://thepeakconditionproject-erik.blogspot.com/2010/03/day-67.html

Monday, March 22, 2010. Anyways, enough about that, how about some food pictures! Up until about 2 weeks ago, I would bring my breakfast to work at eat at my desk (along with lunch and dinner). However recently as I have been trying to do my jumprope in the morning, I'm also trying to eat breakfast at home so I don't have to bring so much to work (and not spend as much time there either :). Monday, April 12, 2010. Gotta get ready for work soon. Yesterday was just miserable here with weather reverting to winter-like conditions, but this morning has been great! The sun is out, the temperature is back up, and I got a good jumprope/8 min ab session in before work. Right now just eating breakfast and catching up on everyone's blogs. Life is good! April 13, 2010 at 12:37 AM. Wow, Eric, look at those abs! April 13, 2010 at 5:13 AM. The hard work has really paid off. April 15, 2010 at 2:17 PM.

Sunday, April 25, 2010. The Wrap Up Part 2: Final Thoughts. It's been a week and a half since Day 90, and I still can't believe how fast the program went! Can't say I have anything more original to say than what has already been said, but I can detail what going through and completing the PCP has done for me:. I have established better eating habits. 1) Eating and drinking till I am satisfied, not full. 2) Eating 5-6 smaller portions a day. 3) Eating healthy, well-balanced meals. Patrick/Chen, thank you ...

Blogging it out: Thank you PCP. So it's the end of the PCP (its been over for a month actually) and its finally time to do my last blog. Over the course of the project:. I lost 10 Kgs. This is the best part and just excellent. I feel good, I look better and everybody says so. I'm still in control of the diet. I've learnt to eat and appreciate real food. This isn't changing. I learnt a lot about exercise, general health etc. I've remembered that I actually enjoy exercise. Then hit the gym at the hotel.

Thursday, November 5, 2009. It's Been Real, It's Been Fun . But It Ain't Been Real Fun! My apologies: didn't mean to leave everyone hanging I've just been uh a little preoccupied and distracted. But I wanted to give my wrap-up on the PCP. In the simplest terms, I got to know myself better. My triggers in terms of what makes me sing and feel triumphant (checking off my little PCP to do list, really enjoying my meal) and what can derail me (the blues, routine interruption, feeling famished).
